It’s already been 9 days since I started writing daily.
Sometimes I post past midnight, but I’m proud of myself for keeping at it!
Looking back, I think I was in a bit of a slump with work late last year. During that time, my coworker-turned-best-friend was always by my side, cheering me on, which helped me not undervalue myself. She always said she learned so much from me and encouraged me, saying with her genuine heart that I’d do well anywhere. As if to prove her words, she connected me with amazing people in her network who had rich career experiences. Through short online coffee chats with them, I found the courage to move forward, and I believe those experiences ultimately led to my successful job transition. There are far more things I’m grateful to her for if I were to list them in detail.
Living in this world, countless connections come and go like waves. Some pass by naturally, while others linger like grains of sand by my side. There are also those that drift away but return like the tide. Time will reveal what kind of bond I share with someone, but I truly hope my connection with this friend lasts for a long time.
I’m the type to give my all to people I feel a genuine connection with. Sometimes, realizing the other person doesn’t match that sincerity can hurt, but this friend always understands my heart in her own warm way. Knowing how precious that understanding is, I’m determined to put in more effort to cherish this valuable bond.
